“A Letter to Love”

Dear Love,

I was broken but I survived

learning to trust life again was so hard

when you came by

I was scared..so scared that fear clouded me

I guess that’s what they called “self fulfilling prophecy”

I forgot all the rules and I did judge you

Forgetting the fact that to accept me 

I have to accept you…

For I believe whole heartedly 

that ACCEPTANCE is the key to serenity

So I decided to gave you a second try

and this time around with no lies

complete honesty to myself and to you

Cause sometimes you could be too overwhelming

and I forgot who I am as a human being

Love, hopefully you and me are willing,

willing to learn, willing to forgive,

willing to let go and grow,

Leave all the resentment and just smile,

for you, love, what makes life worthwhile..
